HOW CREAM PIE STUDIO CREATES COMMERCIAL SPACES THAT WOW AND WORK

Lab Studios Joo Chiat

At Cream Pie, we’re not just about making things look pretty, we’re all about creating spaces that truly represent our clients’ values and visions. We’ve been on a roll, delivering unique commercial projects that are fresh, polished, and totally stand out.

Take our collaboration with DTAP, a group of GP plus clinics. They wanted to revamp three locations and bring some pizzazz to their medical spaces. We took on the challenge and injected a dose of freshness into their interiors. We added rustic timber wall paneling in the waiting areas and threw in some warm and cozy lighting to create a welcoming vibe. Oh, and we made sure the doctors’ rooms were private but not intimidating by using clever fluted glass enclosures.

Now, let’s dive into the world of Japanese cuisine at Omoté, located at Velocity@Novena Square. We wanted to make this place cozy with a twist. Picture this: a big floor plan, color blocking techniques to spice things up, and natural light that sets the mood for intimacy. !

We even created different sections for booth and communal seating, so there’s variety for everyone. It’s not just about the food at Omoté; it’s a whole experience designed to appeal to young diners. We even made the booth seats extra snug for those night owls sipping on sake

Mr Holmes Bakehouse at Battery Road was another exciting project. We had a huge space to work with and sky-high ceilings. Our client gave us the green light to get creative, so we went all out. We installed cool corrugated metal sheets as a spotlight wall, added timber banquette seats for that cozy touch, and topped it off with a lattice grid light feature above the main counter.

We’re big fans of using industrial materials in commercial design at Cream Pie. They’re tough, scratch-resistant, and can handle the hustle and bustle of a busy environment. Plus, they’re timeless! We mix these industrial elements with warm colors and natural touches like timber to create cozy and visually appealing spaces that prioritize the customer experience. It’s like comfort meets style in the best possible way.

When it comes to commercial work, we focus a lot on F&B outlets and gyms. It’s all about creating spaces that not only look great but also function like a dream. Let’s take Lab Studios at Joo Chiat, for example. We mixed timber with mirrored surfaces to create a friendly and luxurious atmosphere while people sweat it out.

Now, here’s the fun part. Our commercial projects always come with tight deadlines because our clients are eager to get things rolling. But fear not, Cream Pie always rises to the challenge. We’ve got a streamlined design process, a network of awesome contractors and suppliers, and we know how to manage resources like pros. Just look at Omoté, where we turned things around in just four weeks!

Our commercial work is all about deep discussions with clients to understand their brand, mission, and desired vibe. We appreciate the potential of the space and we’re not just a design service—we’re partners in crime. Our clients often come to us with ideas, and we love bringing those ideas to life in the most epic way possible.
